I got an email last night from Liz about an open house on April 16th at Saleen. They're doing a tour of the shop followed by a cruise thru the canyons to dinner somewhere. Was wondering who else might be going?

Shoot. I will just be flying in from a weeklong business trip and will not be able to make it. I have been attended a couple other Saleen open house/cruises. The last one was two years ago, also the day before the Knott’s show. In addition to the S281 tour, Bill Tally also let us poke around the S7 fabrication rooms. The cruise took us through local foothills and terminated at Ruby’s in Laguna where Saleen provided dinner for everyone. They were also entertaining their top national sales people and non other than John Coletti.

Get in on the event if you can. It will undoubtedly be a lot of fun. The only down side, is that you will miss the SCOA dinner Saturday night and you will not have much time to detail your car before the show Sunday morning.

Damn, forgot about the SCOA dinner. I have a wedding to go to that night too. I might be able to squeeze in the tour of the facility, but would have to jam after that. Oh well, maybe next time. I'm going to detail my car on Saturday afternoon, take my wife's truck to the wedding so the Saleen stays nice and clean, and then do a little touch up at the show once she's parked.

Now if I can just avoid a killer hangover on Sunday morning I'll be good to go. Can't be doing this :puke: at the show. :rlaugh:

between all the SCOA members, you won't be able to do anything without it being caught on camera........America's Favorite Car Show Video's, we could make millions. Just need Bob Sagat to host and we will be set :rlaugh:
