I was just on ebay and there is a full kit off of what seems to be a 00-02. It is also powdercoated. No idea who it belongs to but looks real nice and is only 1599$. Not sure what maf to go with as i still have the stock unit, but you could probably get a pro-m 80 mm? Get all that the chicane pulley and a 70mm tb then get yourself a tune, and good luck.

I also have a 1999 GT and added a Series II last December.

    I had:
    Saleen Series II S/C
    Magnaflow Catted X-Pipe
    Magnaflow Mufflers
    Chicane Sport Ripp Kit
    Autologic Chip - base tune
    NGK Iridium's
    Upgraded Fuel Pump
30lb Injectors (comes with the saleen kit)

My first dyno was at 298 rwhp / 322 rwtq

    Since then I have added:

    Accufab 75mm Throttle Body
    C&L 80mm Mass Air Kit
    JBA Shorty Headers
    Borla Stinger Catback

    To be installed shortly:

    Gords Ford Heat Exchanger
    FRPP 3.73's

Once I get all that taken care of I will be getting the car tuned at Swanson's up in Torrance. I do not plan on swapping out the pulley.

Here's a couple of sound clips I took:

if you can get one cheap do it, but i would say go with a paxton novi 2000, it will make more power than the series II.
