I was walking back to my car today, when I saw something out of the corner of my eye.

I looked up and saw a black Nissan GT-R cruising by.

I have my flame suite on, but holy crap that thing was NICE!!!

The lines on it were smooth, but it had enough attitude to it to let you know it isn't your average wannabe sports car.

It sounded nice too, like a 350Z on steroids.

    I was impressed.

Hopefully I'll get to drive one soon and let you guys know what its like. I work at a high end performance and luxury car shop where cars like that are pretty common.

    I love Skyline GT-R's

The looks, the performance, the tuneability (word?), basically the whole idea of the car has always fascinated me, my favorite being the R33, but this new one is something different.

I can tell you right off the bat i didn't like it when i first saw pics of it and even now pics of the production model still don't do it for me, might have to see one in person

This seems to be a common sentiment. It certainly isn't a graceful or beautiful design, but to me, it does have a purposeful and powerful look that says "I'm all business, you don't want to mess with me" w/o being over the top.

    Found out something funny today.

A buddy of mine knows the guy.

Apparently he has an M3 aswell, and his dad told him that he would buy him any car he wants...

Those cars are works of art in all aspects. Probably one of my most favorite late model cars.

A guy that was a regular(and he was regularly a douche) at Acura traded in his '07 RL plus plenty of coin for one, He about got his ass beat too lol.

Everyone was out front checking out the car and all ohhing and ahhhing, well one of the techs(ex-HS football star that blew a knee, benches 410, built like a huge running back) was like "damn, how much did that cost?" and the guys response was "more than you'll ever make here.... EVER!" and he starts laughing, then all the other techs and everybody was like wow.... get the F out of here and pretty much made him look like a douche in front of 25 ppl. The tech said that the guy was lucky he was in a good mood b/c his girl came and saw him. Our service manager told the tech he would have promptly erase the tapes muwuahahha

No doubt that a black GTR is very nice... But for the price, I would get a Z06.

IMO all the GTR's are completely badass. I really don't care for the styling of the new cars but the performance is outstanding.
