Hi All,
Newbie here. Had a question about getting a scanner to view live data pids on my '95 GT 5.0...
Will a Snap On MT2500 be able to do it? Any recommendations on another scanner?
I've haven't used a pre-OBDII scanner before.
Thanks in advance,

T

Pretty sure the MT2500 scanner will only read & clear codes since that's all the test port puts out, but I don't own one. On '95s the most common route for live data is the Moates Quarterhorse. No plug & play for OBD1.

I have no experience with the MT2500, but a scanner I bought many years ago will display some PIDs like RPM and ECT temperature. The OBDI computers in our GT's & Cobras can't show as many PIDs as the OBDII, so if you are looking for a particular PID you may not get it. I bought an Autoxray EZ-Scan 4000 that works for any OBDI and OBDII vehicle, and will display any PIDs that the computer will show. Unfortunately, the line of scanners seems to be discontinued.
