Found a want ads listing for Mustang II parts. Called the guy, he said, "Come on out and take a look. I'm just gonna throw this stuff out." I went out there this evening.
For $100 -- all I had on me -- I got:
- a set of quarter glass -- one of each side, including seals
- REAR HATCH LOUVERS, the original metal ones!
- A COBRA CHIN SPOILER!
- an OEM hood prop rod
- a Cobra grille with the clear turn indicators
- a full dashboard assembly, with the instrument cluster (80 mph but I'm going to customize it anyway)
- all the metal trim pieces for the rear hatch
- adjustable gas shocks with the little nozzle dealie that goes into the trunk
- a set of new brake pads and a new master cylinder
I'm going back tomorrow for a spare hood and a full piece of rear hatch glass; they wouldn't fit in my Saturn.
Two freaking years of swap-meeting and eBaying trying to get the trim, the louvers, and the chin spoiler, and someone was going to toss them.
