sct dual stage rev limiter- whats a good rpm to set it at? just ordered my sct tuner and they ask if you want a dual stage rev limiter. What should i have it set at rpm wise for street / strip use...more street, and does anyone know if i'll be able to change this once i get the tuner? 2003 Gt :Track: - K&N intake -C&L upper plenum -bbk throttle body -pypes o/r x -flowmaster c/b -pro 5.0 shifter
With my SCT 2 I have the 2 step set and can adjust the rpm in the tune. Your tuner should be able to give you adjustability. It is under Neutral Rev Limiter. Depending on your tires 2500 may be a good value to start at but it is just a guess. On the track I have set mine at 2500 and on other days I have been able to set it to 5000 and launch. Track and tire dependant. Good luck and your car looks good.
i had mine at 3800, and the 6400, becuse i usuall shift right around 6100-6200, but for some reason it doesnt work anymore, i might just get the msd 2-step
like the picture that looks like new hampshire behind your car and then a 89 fox body when you getting your gears put in
i dont know they;ll be in on tuesday so monday im going to go talk to a few more shops. 2003 Gt - K&N intake -C&L upper plenum -bbk throttle body -pypes o/r x -flowmaster c/b -pro 5.0 shifter
