Hey all,
I recently got the SCT2 and DeMolet CAI for my 05 GT, the SCT had the 'regular' tune on it, nothing special from any tuners.....I used the 93 octane...
I just wondered if there is any parameters I can change myself using the SCT to get any better performance out of the car....or if I should leave it as is...

You guys know how it is, you get a mod and you're thrilled for a week, then you want MORE!
Thanks alot!

I recently went to a local shop with lots of experience custom tuning the new Mustang.

YOU GOTTA GET A CUSTOM TUNE!!!!

Dont get me wrong, the tunes that come from the folks who make the CAI are pretty good. But the only way to really get all the power out of your pony is to have it custom tuned by someone with a dyno and a lot of know how.

My car dyno'd 289RWHP using a "canned" 93 high performance tune.
After some tweeks and several dyno pulls.... I'm now putting down 300RWHP!

The throttle response is much better, the exhaust sounds deeper, and I'm getting better gas milage. Well worth an afternoon and $200.

The custom tune is now stored on my SCT, and I can tweek things like timing when things are a bit less hot and humid.

Hope this helps.
