Seatbelt Tongue Locking Bar

Hi everyone. I have an obscure question. Has anyone had any issues with front seatbelts, specifically with the tongue locking bar sleeve (I think that's what it's called). It's on my 86. On the drivers side, the tongue has come off in my hand once already as I attempted to fasten it into the buckle. I checked the passenger side and it looks like there is supposed to be a black plastic fastener which is missing from the drivers side. Does anyone know if this can be replaced? If this is the same piece I think there may have been a recall on it at one point. Any info would be appreciated.

Not sure what your talking about but IMO safety has no price tag on it. LMR has brand new seat belts for under $200 for the front driver and passenger side. When in doubt, switch it out!!

I agree, I placed an order today for the replacement front seat belts today. They are on backorder but should ship in a few weeks.

I've been on their site but have ordered through LMR in the past and saved $10 on the order so I went through them this time
