Of course he did, it's what Dubya does the best.

Forged papers presented as real, no attempt being made to aquire yellow cake, the Sixteen Words in the State of the Union Address, all lies.

    Still playing catch up?

Sort of makes you wonder why Shrub was lying about Saddam trying to get more raw materials, since everything he had he had since 91 and was known about.

Keep trying though, I'm sure someday you'll find something Shrub wasn't a failure at.

So which way is it ? Did Sadam have yellow cake and if so wouldn't that fall under WMD? Or was there no yellow cake so Bush was lying?

:nice: I like watching Wart put out the daily smug spin.. I wonder what he is going to hate and complain about soon though. Seeing as how that takes up a large part of the day. Owell. I'm sure he can still hate Bush long after he's gone.

I believe what Wart's trying to say is this yellowcake in Iraq has been there since 1991 and we've always known about it.

I don't believe I stated it was newly aquired. In fact, the article I posted even states it was there since 91. I just find it funny after hearing the daily spin for quite some time about no yellowcake in Iraq, 550 tons of it is moved out of iraq and not a peep about it from the MSM.
Also, I think it's great that Wart buys right into the Valerie Plame/Joe Wilson set of lies..:nice:

You and I both know it was one little quick article buried in the back pages online. Not like, say, Joe Wilson who was front page daily for a month. I would think 500 tons of yellowcake might even be considered ingredients of mass destruction, don't ya think?

what is the big news story other than it was a secret operation? it was no secret that Iraq was working on creating nuclear weapons since the 1970's. it was also no secret that they were no longer working on that program at the time of the invasion. so what's the big deal? the only thing that was really accomplished was that the U.S. prevented nuclear materials from falling into the hands of terrorists. but here is the kicker, it was safe under Saddam's regime! the U.S. just cleaned up a problem that they themselves created!

EDIT: so now we were looking for ingredients of weapons of mass destruction? lol. if that's the case, there are alot of countries we need to invade. the ingredients mean very little unless there is intent to build a weapon.

Some ingredients are worse than others. As I've said before, anyone who thinks Saddam was not trying to make chemical weapons/wmd, why not check with the kurds?
As far is it not being reported on because it was secret, I don't recall that stopping the treasonous NY Times from front paging multiple top secret operations. Wonder if they'll do the same to Barry?

there is no doubt that Saddam used chemical weapons in the past. but not even the Bush administration is denying that Saddam had no active WMD programs at the time of or for years before the invasion. so again, why should this have been some giant story plastered all over my tv?

Ever notice how most of us on here do not answer each other's questions, rather just dodge and ask one of our own?

Lol I don't think there's any sort of conspiracy, I've been disgusted with major media outlets in general for years.

And I'm entitled to hate on Obama lol just as much as y'all are entitled to hate on Bush.

i answered your question about the the Kurds by acknowledging the the use of chemical weapons in the past. as far as the NY times, that's irrelevant and a deflection from you from the original topic. the reason this wasn't a month long news story is because it's a non-story, and not because of some political conspiracy as you and others would like to perceive.
