Shims

Got the uppers off and the coils out (that was fun) and am now in the process of drilling for the Shelby drop. The instructions say to remove about an even thickness of 1/8" to 1/4" worth of shims to compensate for the added positive camber. I noticed my front tires are definately wearing more on the inside than the rest of the tire. What should I do? Add more? Take away more? Leave em the same? I know its hard to judge without seeing the car, so I'll be up from the garage often to add any info, pics that would help.
