Shocks/Struts...

I recently lowered my car by cutting the springs...I don't believe in wasting 300 bucks for a set of colored springs when you can just cut them and it rides just the same to me atleast. But I need to get new shocks/struts because mine are going bad because I lowered it...so which should I go with? It's lowered about 2 inches I would say from stock height....so which would be the best for my ride height?

Sounds like price may be an issue. Get some KYB's ... they are a good product.

ive had konis and bilsteins on previous stangs and have never had a problem or complaint about them

The best for your ride height would be a set of aftermarket springs.

cutting springs is very UNreliable. i mean come on now? you don't have a civic... but whatever, you do what you want to do.
KYB's are the cheapest, plus they work great w/ warranty

As people are saying, springs aren't just height.. When you cut the outter part of the spring off, you are cutting where the spring is strongest.. It gets progressively weaker in tolerances toward the middle.

Plus, stock springs have a 450lbs compression rating which is very soft.. besides looks you aren't getting a performance increase.

After getting bilsteins on the front of my car, I don't think i'd buy anything else.

Cut springs are very unrealiable. I have Tokico Blues and love em. Cheap but yet NICE performance

ya, id rather spend the $300 of my hard earned money than have some hack lop off the strongest part of my spring. for shocks i would get bilsteins and replace your screwed up springs with some coilovers.
