Short Hub & Quick Release

I guess real question is how much did you have to bore out hub? Shady tapers out after about an inch .

Guess I have to get used to it. Doesn't look too bad . Modified hub slightly, it sits flush with steering shaft. Steering wheel is about 1 1/2 in. closer than stock. Maybe later I will modify hub more & use your idea on column. Again thanks for all your help.

Sorry I wasn't able to get back to you sooner. When I was boring it out, I just kept it even to maintain the shape to not round it out too much. Turns out I did remove the horn contacts as well. Mine sits back about a half inch further than yours it looks like based on where your column cover is.

Thanks again. I used bottom of clock spring ad a spacer. I will open bore some time in the future. Gonna get another column cover and modify it like yours . Its my big boy toy so no rush on finishing it.
