Hello everyone! I am new to all of this forum stuff. I am seeking some help.... I have a 2006 mustang GT, and I am having issues with the 5 speed shifter... Now I am talking about the shifter itself. I bought it from craigslist, and when I took it for a drive I noticed thatr when in gear, the shifter stays in the center?? Usually when in gear the shifter and shift knob would be in the position of the gear that you are in?? Also when in any given gear, i can move the shifter from left to right as if it were in neutral?? There's allot of slop and play when shifting. Any clue as to what this may be?? The shifter that is installed is after market and is a short shifter... I am not sure of what band? Thanks in advanced!
