slow 5.0 do you have any links to your car for video, or audio? I'm really interested in hearing the B-31, if I'm not mistaken its like a .544 lift? wanted to hear the lobe?

Very cool.... looks like a monster. It has way more in it. He's got a couple of tenths left in the shifts alone. Not counting the traction issue. :nice:

I know that with any cam you need a tune. But how is the b-31 without the tune any drivability problems or idle issues?

I was going to do one in my combo but when i get done I wont have the money right off the bat for the tune?

b-31 works best with 1.6 rockers, 30lbs injectors and 90 mm mass air meter, work with stock short block, and works great with ecu from the 94-95, little lumpy on the idle side, its .544 on the intake and .544 on exhaust not sure about the lope seperation but you can google and get the specs. I've heard great thing about anderson cams, I actually just bought one myself from a ebay for a grand total of .....122.50 not bad. My brother has a supercharged 88 with the works and just bought one of the N high rev cams with some crazy lift

you might want to look at getting a programmer like a pms, or tweecer, or getting a chip burnt from sct, or autologic, most shops do all the tuning for you on a dyno

Ok guys let me try explain little bit more about this car

Car stared as 94 6 banger with all options V6 have (power seats, rear wing...) and it was wrecked in front, my friend bought start building it
Car is full weight nothing cut to be lighter, it have 8 point cage, even some speakers and amp in the trunk
Suspension in front is tubular but not coil overs, springs are FMS 3/4 drop, nothing fancy, UCA/LCA are tubular adjustable
Yes is blower YS trim , its cog thats why sounds nasty
This guy is crazy when it comes to custom stuff
He make his own 3" exhaust, meth injection is custom he build it
Its 8.2 deck 347 forged FMS R302 block
    TFS R heads
    TFS R intake
    custo cam
And whats weirdest part he switched 2 years ago to 98 GT ECU, so no more distributor, it has coil packs with crank trigger and since he have dyno shop and SCT tuning he put tune for 98 4.6 so this car have 4.6 brain
Its all backed up by TKO, 3.73, FMS 31 spline and FMS diff

I'm on laptop right now so i don't have more videos of this car, they all on home PC so i will upload them later

Once agin this is street car not drag car even my friends called race car lol
It has seen snow and trip to Florida

If you have any Qs about this Stang just ask

Dont you have TW heads? If so do you have to worry about piston to valve clearence? And you have to upgrade the valvle springs?

    Thanks Garrett

We had to fly cut piston to 100.000 to get clearence, but my head was milled 40.000 thats why we needed that much clearence, more infos in this thread
