Do you guys think this will look good on a Candy Apple Red 08 GT?

You might want to consider the polished piece. It's easier to take care of and less prone to staining. They're all good quality, don't get me wrong. But I got some bleech-white on mine, and I don't know if it's going to come out or not. The polished one is not too "blingy" but super easy to take care of. That's actually what I wanted, but I asked for the wrong thing I guess.

I don't like to draw attention to the fuel door. I prefer the stock color.

I've seen a billet door with the lid itself painted the body color, and the ring is polished..........Nicer imo. my .02

I'd love to see that. Got a photo by any chance?

Might wanna contact Marcello. He was planning on doing a paint to match or anodize to match setup with them. He may be able to do it for you custom.

I don't like the styling conflict of having a gas door AND a fake gas cap on the back. I love the look of the polished doors but would remove the fake gas cap and put an insert in there. I think polished looks best. Having gone for an SHR brushed billet rear medallion for a Mach 1 look, I wish I'd gone for the polished.
