    Hey guys,
I'm going to be trading in my 01 GT for an 07 GT. My 01 has an o/r upr x pipe w/ flowmasters 40 series. IMO (just mine) you can't be the gains and sound with that config for the price. I'd want to do the same config for the 07 GT I'll be getting. Can I expect a similar sound and similar gains with that same config on the new Mustangs?
    Thanks

The S197 sounds different from the SN95's because of the muffler placement. The only thing I can think will make the car close in terms of sound would be some kind of exhaust setup where the muffler is placed as far back as possible or at least some stinger type of sound.

I believe pypes had a muffler they were testing that was placed before the rear axle, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if that sounded more like what you're used to.

Yeah. To accomplish it you could get the Mid-Muffler system from pypes.. But in my opinion a X-pipe on a S-197 has a baddass sound all in its own.

do an O/R X and have a set of the LM1 or Pypes mid muffler welded in to the middle of the pipe system. Better than buying the entire catback !
