What gives? I have always thought electronic ignition was better, smoother, more consistent, etc. I had swapped out to a set of points to determine and ignition problem (it wound up being the wire from the switch.) and the car actually seemed to idle better and run smoother at low speed w/ the points. High speed (rpm) the difference was negligible. Could it be a faulty Ignitor module, if so wouldn't it bang out at high rpm? Any info? Maybe I should go back to points.
