Got the rear bumper stripped down for the most part need to get the paint out of the embossed mustang letters. I also started to sand down the primer on the skirts to get them ready for paint. going to start on the under side of the hood next week. 1 guy is out on vaca and the shop is loaded with work so I'll be up there working on it alot to get it out the door buy the end of the month...hopefully. I'll never really **** though for how long it's taking considering what my buddy is charging me and how detailed of a job we are doing.

    some recent pics..

LOL. yeah Josh told me it was your car. sorry man she was really a nice one minus the pass. side damage. she lives on though :nice:. I started to strip the underside of the hood. crazy the amount of slight surface rust under the seam sealer that was not lifted! it was still bonded to the hood, just like the hatch. going to finish getting it all out and sandblast and get it primed. hitting all this little stuff is seems more time consuming than all the big stuff was :D. I'm heading up tomorrow so I'll grab some more pics.

I posted that I made some shims for the hatch so I could improve the alignment of the lines and get some adjustment side to side. I was able to get it pretty flush with the roof and even it out on the sides

I elongated the holes for the fog lights since there really isn't any side to side adjustment. The d/s fog light wasn't centered in the hole of the bumper now I can adjust them to get them even looking.

underside of the hood stripped, sealed and painted.

We painted the top section of the engine bay and let the overspray fall down inside. I'm doing this for now to hold me over for few years until I do my motor build then I'll finish the engine bay then. It will be 90% done until that day comes

That's it for now will post up more when I get more done

Where did you get all the stuff to do the door panels?
    Mine are hurting.
I cut the map pockets off with a razor knife years ago, they kept getting caught in the door.

    Is it a full kit?

Did you get them back on the car where they look and feel like they are fully connected?
I never seem to be able to get all the edges perfect.

I got the map pocket deletes from 50resto, the kit comes wth everything to install them. I also picked up new door panel clips so hopefully when I get the car back and install them they will snap back on nice. The pockets are really easy to do. once you have the panels off there are tabs on the back side that are bent over to hold them in. just straighten them and the pocket pulls out, line up the new map pockets tabs, slide the holders on and bend them over and lock them in..done. A couple of the holes in the holders didn't line up perfect so I couldn't get a tight fit. I drilled a new hole in it and it worked perfect.

recent update. moved it around, finished blocking it and fixed a couple of low spots on the hood that I noticed. I think something was laid on it but no one knows . It's ready for paint and should get color tomorrow or wensday for sure.

you aint the only one. By the time it's on the road it will be close to a year since I started this phase. I've been going nuts even more so due to the great summer we have had, such great driving weather this year.
