Not sure if it's in the right forum but here goes, I've got some 28x12.5x15 MT ET Streets. Can I run them on my 2000 mustang GT? my rear end is stock except for 4.10's. Also can they be mounted on a 97 v6 rim? I think it's a 15x7. Thanks alot

You cannot mount the 12.5 inch slick on a 15x7 rim. The largest you can mount on an 8 inch rim is a 10.5. In order to run the slick you are asking about, you have to run a 10 inch wide rim. Also, your axles will take quite a beating on a clutch drop slick launch. Even a stock mustang GT can snap the 28-splines llike toothpicks with a set of slicks and a hard launch. Just be generous and careful without upgraded axles.

Ah...missed the 7 inch wide wheels. Sorry about that.

I did some pretty hard launches on mine. Really the weak link will be the DS. Unless you are pushing 350HP the axles should be fine.
