Hey guys I just ordered some fr500's and I know that I'll be getting some 315 nitto dr's for the back but I am now wondering what is the smallest sized 555 tire I could run for the front rims? Would 255's work? Thanks in advance!

Depends....if you can find a brand of tire that promotes a "curb guard" built into the side wall, you should be able to run 245's on them with no worries. Plenty of the MN12 (T-Bird/Cougar) guys run them, with no issue.

I would go 255. I have 245 because of a backorder issue with my wheels. supposed to get 8" and got 9" the 245's work but 255 would have a bit squarer sidwall. If I would have orded 9" front wheel I would have went with 255's.

I have bfg kdw-2 and they will not curb even at 245. I tested it out to make sure I did not have to give the wife a lecture about staying away from curbs.
