Im pieceing together a Cobra rear brake up grade, so far here is what i got :

1-North Race Cars Brackets and hardware

2- Cobra rear calipers http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/iwwida.pvx?;item?item_no=M2320A 1&comp=LRS

3- 2 cobra rotors, dustshields, moan braces, dust shield bolts http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/iwwida.pvx?;item?item_no=M2300M 1&comp=LRS

4- http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/iwwida.pvx?;item?item_no=LRS-2005C 1&comp=LRS

Now for the rest, I have no clue where to get the SS braided lines. If any of you guys could post links, Id really appreciat it.

Heres a link to LRS for the braided lines, but im not sure which to chose? (scroll down and PLEASE tell me which to chose from the Stainles ones, they come in front and back kits) http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/products.aspx?category=M6BRAKEHOS

As for the Master cylinder and Brake Booster, I'm going to purchase a 93 cobra brake booster, but not sure which Master Cylinder to get, please give suggestions!

Thanks for you time!!

Rear braded probably won't make much of a difference since 70 percent of the pressure goes to the front anyways. I would stick with rubber to save a few dollars and if anything put braded lines up front. I believe the cobra master cylinder is the one people are suggesting. I am going through the same process right now of gathering parts for a rear cobra upgrade. Here is a very good site to read.

check ebay for the 93 cobra MC. I think they go for 60 bucks or so. I believe that is the one you want. I think late model also carries them too. Not sure about the rear rubber hoses. For my application with an 03 cobra IRS I didn't have much of a choice.

Are you talking about on the hubs? I think all they make is the ABS ones now, since it is cheaper and easier to just stock one part # for all the Mustangs from 94-04. They are not really different, it just has the gear on the back of the hub. You might be able to remove it, but it would be more trouble than it is worth.

yyeah ive read it a gazillion times, but doesnt say where i can get parts .. Which rubber ones do i need for the back? And im looking for front Hubs, hub nuts !!

NAPA beleive it or not is the only place i've found them

You want them specified for a 94 Mustang GT. These are the ones that bolt to the axle and are the easiest to retrofit into the current Fox setup.

They are $15 each

I think all 94-95 Mustangs have this setup though, so maybe you can find them on ebay or something.

I've searched like crazy, but don't beleive there are SS replacements for these particular rubber lines

this is a paragraph from http://sn95brakes.cjb.net/

Cobra Rear 11.65" rear rotors:
- North RaceCars Brackets - for the cobra rear rotors
-94+ loaded Cobra calipers complete (with bracket and hardware)
-94+ Cobra 11.65" vented rear rotors
-For the 87-92 cars, use the (2) FMS M-2809-A and (1) FMS M-2810-A cable
-For the 93, use the 93 cobra cables F3ZZ-2A635-A
-94-95 rear caliper hoses

the calipers, (with bracket and harware)... is this complete with the bracket and hardware?? http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=631

how come its not mentioned in http://sn95brakes.cjb.net/

It should be. The e-brake is often neglected and sometimes never done.

All you really need to do is do a small tack weld. If you have access to a welder or know a shop, i'm sure they could do it for FAR cheaper than the $40 it will cost to get one already done.

There used to be a good write-up on the e-brake mod. I'll see if i can find it

Yup, those calipers come loaded with pads.

You have everything you need really. I haven't seen axles mentioned yet. Are you going with Ford ranger axles or aftermarket fox lenght axles?? One small thing you may need with the ranger axles is a small spacer for the rotor to sit on the hub. I beleive it's nothing more than a 1/4" thick peice of 2.75"OD/2.5"ID pipe. It fits over the axle hub and better centers the rotor so the hub carries the load and not the lugs.

SOmeone made spacers for this, but i forget who it was

whene you say loaded, does that mean only pads...cuz on http://sn95brakes.cjb.net/ he metions brackets and hardware.

in this kit http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/pr...roducts_id=631 i dont see any brackets or hardware..

And i thought the only brackets i needed was the North racecar brackets..

Second, rather then getting this kit http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0 1&comp=LRS
is their anyway i can get these parts sepratly? dustshields, moan braces, dust shield bolts

because I already have the rotors and Northracecar brackets!

There are actually two different brackets. There are the axle brackets which are the north racecar brackets. Then there are the caliper brackets. These are what holds the pads and the caliper bolts to. When i say those calipers are loaded. That means they have the pads in them installed inside the caliper brackets. It's the U-shaped bracket that you can kinda sorta see. I may have a pic.

Yes, Ford. The anti-moan braces are about $40 each. The dust shields are about $10 each and the bolt i don't know but you can get some at home depot for 5 cents rather than pay Ford $5 for 3 bolts each side. Just ask for parts from an '04 Mach 1

Here are rear loaded calipers

View attachment 381311

The part painted red is the actual caliper

The black part is the caliper bracket

Usually when people talk about loaded calipers, they refer to this whole assembly as you see in the pic.

The two bolt holes at the bottom of the black bracket are what bolt to the North Racecars brackets

Those are GT/V6 calipers above, so cobra calipers look a tiny bit different
