sneezing through intake popping

    recently put e303 cam and edelbrock performer heads on car also converted to mass air heads have adjustable rockers and have set to 0 lash plus 1/8 turn but i still get popping in intake at low rpm on accell timming is set to 14 initial and running aod trans with bbk exh any idea what to try next?:shrug:

    Probably not related to your problem, but most people go about 1/2 turn on the rockers after zero lash. What mass-air meter are you using? Are you using an adjustable fuel press regulator?

    I started with 3/4 turn after 0 lash and it is a stock mass-air meter and a stock fuel pressure regulator

    It's sounds like you might be getting a "lean pop", it's fairly common when you switch cams. I would get an adjustable regulator and a guage, and then try playing with your fuel pressure
