So how many of you have swapped out a T-5 for a auto?

I was just curious to see how many of you swapped out the t-5 for an automatic and why?

i swapped my tko for a c4 but its the same thing. i just did it to do it. im slowly turning the car into a trailer queen and strip only car. and i figured if youre racing, the c4 is more consistant and easier to drive than a 5 spd. plus i cant drive a 5 spd good enough to race it anyways.

i dont know why anyone would do this! But whoever does, i will give them two fully functional aods for one t5

I am swapping my t-5 out for a aod this spring. I always have like auto's and they are more consistent at the strip. I am not sure how difficult it is going to be, but I know it will be tougher than a c-4 swap. I just want to retain overdrive.

I got lucky; the previous owner did it before I ever got my hands on it. Easiest swap I ever did.

Didn't even know mine was an AOD-T5 conversion until I checked the option codes on the door. Whoever did it sure was thorough about it all - pedals, trim, and everything ... except the correct speedo gear for the 4.10's.
