Like the title says. How often do you see a Mustang? And what type if known.

Personally I see considerably more Ferrari's and Aston Martin's than Mustangs.

Most common however has to be the new s197 GT.

I sometimes see a 5.0 GT Vert. But it's a bit tatty and beyond it's best.

Rarest funnily enough is the 99-04 sn95 model. I think I've only seen 1 one the road in tha last 12 months.

Come on you guys, I know there's some Stang owners in the UK - get them out on the road!!!! lol.

    :)

    Wow, only 1 SN95 in a year ?
That's pretty insane... nice to see that there's some fellow Mustang lover on the other side :)

Actually the "SN95" body style ran from 94-98... I see one every day when i drive it to work lol :rlaugh:  :nonono: but i just found out i have a hairline crack in one of the bores but luckily i have a spare engine in the garage that i am swaping it with :hail2: Also, like i mentioned in another thread there are about 7-8 mustangs on RAF Molesworth and about 10-12 on RAF Alconbury...

yeah I know the sn95 started in 94 with the 5.0

The V6 variant of these is probably the second most common one I see on the roads, but the 99-04 ones are very rare indeed.

I should think that would be one of the best things about owning a Mustang on that side of the pond old chap, the rarity.

Owning a Saleen is rare on this shore as well, but not as rare as in the UK, I'm sure. Do you get a lot of comments or do people even take notice? You'd get comments in the USA for sure, so I just wonder how people react to a Premium Grade Mustang over there.

i do get comments on it, i had one guy almost mount the kerb because he was looking so hard :D

the only problem i have it that the car is orange, it has 18" 5 spoke alloys, sliver graphics (saleen down the sides, standard stuff) and a spoiler.. if one more 16 year old punk says

"hey, is that the supra frrom the fast and the furious"

    "has it really got NAAAAAWS"

    someone is going to die....

s197 i seen about 5 of, mostly parked up in a garage called "american pickup trucks" in hyde.

i have seen 4 99-04 stangs, 1 of them for sale, one on the motorway, one in my local tesco and one parked up in manchester.

94 -98 i seen 2, one yellow for sale, one black parked up in a garage.

fox bodies, 1 black 5.0 GT pulling away from me in warrington. 4 hot chicks sat in it but they never saw me put my thumb up at them haha

70's i seen 2, one outside of the trafford centre, blue, i think early 70's and the other for sale.

60's i seen 2 of them, one black (1st stang i saw) and one shelby or a shelby clone on the back of a racing trailor.

i think thats all of em

Unfortunately, the only other Mustang I see here in Bosnia is a '97 GT that I once owned. As far as I know I have the only S197 in the country. I'll be moving to Macedonia/Kosovo area hopefully I'll see more there.

Actually no, 300bhp/ton is right, he just stated the 99-04 are rarest of the sn-95's where he is

    how things change!

at any american car meet or show now, there are LOADS of SN95's almost all imported from japan of all places!

i know of two other SN95's that are daily drivers, asside from mine, one in milton keynes (local ish) and one in swindon (96 cobra SVT) there is a very nice fox body about 2 miles from me, again, the guys only car.

oddly though, i seldom see them in my town on the roads..
