i have to give a speech for my class :bang: so naturally i chose to do it on svt. now my question is what is currently going on for svt? and what is their future? everything i have read does not tell me if svt is done or if they will continue to produce vehicles. i understand that the gt500 is a svt vehicle, and from what i think i understand is that once that is done, that will be the end of svt vehicles. the gt500 started in 2007 and they said they will be produced for 3 years, so 2009 will be the last production year of any svt vehicles.

so if any of you guys know what is the future of svt, please shed some light and please correct all wrong info that i posted above.
i am sure that this prob. belongs in the svt section, but i doubt that gets much traffic, and this is the only section i post in anyway since it is the best.
    thanks

I've heard something about the fact that SVT is not only producing the Shelby vehicles, but also the future Bullitt, Boss, and whatever other specialty mustang out there.

cool, thanks yall for the help and info. my next step was what cjones advised and contact a svt dealer. it is not extremely cruicial that i get every possible piece of information since the speech is for a very small class of about 12 people, all of which are not car people at all. but i would like to give good accurate information. and give some insight as to what the future of svt is.
    thanks
