Long time since i've been in here, hope all is well with you gentlemen...
So, I live in CA... and CA doensn't smile upon XCam's, and deleted smog equipment.
So, instead of tearing into my 327, i'm assembling a "spare parts" motor that will live on a stand in my shed until its needed. (every two years or so)
The "spare motor" so far is:
*Used shortblock from 87' GT (good crosshatching visible on all 8)
*30k mile E7's with new valve seals
*Fox style manifold with stock TB and EGR stuff
*SN95 fuel rails with 19lb'ers
My two questions so far:
1. I have a remote mount TFI distributor from a 93 F150 (5.0). Would it work on my 94 GT? (search came up empty)
2. The 87' 5-0 short block I have still has the stock cam. Will the speed density cam play nice with my mass air 94' computer? At least nice enough to pass emissions?
