Spark Plug Connectionq

Ok, for the passenger side of the distributor cap, what order do the spark plug wires connect? I had to take them off for the manifold swap, but in what order do they go back on? I just need the passenger side and starting from the top (closest to manifold) to bottom (closest to frontmost part of car) thank you very much.

on the dist they go 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 (1 being at about the 12 oclock position)


and cyls from front to back
pass side 1-2-3-4
drivers side 5-6-7-8

god, that's what everybody is saying, but on mine i think atleast 3 from 1/2/3/4 are on the passenger side of the car while 1 goes over, and 1 from the drivers comes to the passenger side, now 2/2 i thought it was 3/1 for the cross over. Could it be the person before me had them improperly installed??

edit: also, is the above firing order, going clockwise or counterclockwise?
