When I turn the steering wheel to make a 90 degree turn...sometimes I can hear a high pitched sort of noise...sort of sounds like a bus braking. Anyone else have this and know what it might be? Power steering fluid maybe? I'm almost at 3000 miles so I'll definitely ask Ford to check it out.

thats just power steering, i happens in many cars, just flush the old power steering fluid out and replace it with new, better stuff. Just go to autozone and pick some up

I actually posted this over at themustangsource a while ago.. My car does it too. It's happens when making a really hard left or right turn after you have been driving the car for a while.

There is no doubt that it is the breaks somehow squeaking.

I was going to take it in but never got around to it.

I have the same problem - it's kind of embarassing when going through the parking garage at work. To compensate I just push the car harder so the exhaust sound and tires squealing covers it up! :D

But seriously let us know if you find a fix for this...

Same thing, I think it is coming from the clutch packs in the rear end. I had the dealer check it out and they docunmented it. If it gets worse I will have something done about it.
