My throttle cable snapped at the pedal!! The end was all frayed and dropped off onto the floor mat. MF Pain the ass.:(

Progressive insurance were amazing. I called them and they arranged a flat bed because I told them my car was lowered. Towed it to the dealer completely free of charge, and with no damage to the car. Hizzel yeah!! Thumbs up to progressive. :nice::nice::nice::nice::nice:

I'll have her back tomorrow!:D You think I should have them replace the brake cable too...? if its as worn as the throttle cable that could be a bit scary. Better to be safe...

Sounds good and bad at the same time. A flatbed is the only way! :nice:

Might as well swap the clutch cable too then..?

Just curious, do you have the 'gas pedal mod?'

my sister has progressive for her 05 GT and she loved how they handled her accident back in january. really sounds like you can't beat them, unless you're in the military and can get USAA.

    That's because it doesn't, lol.

Sucks the car let you down, but luckily it wasn't a big break down. Sounds like she as been good to you.

    Maybe he meant e-brake cable?

Anyway 007, yes I believe the gas pedal mod could be the one to blame for this problem because the mod removed most, if not all slack from your cable, which probably made it stretch ever so slightly, shortening its life.
