Next weekend is "Apocalypse Weekend" for us here on campus. We are going to supposedly have a bunch of activities on campus including live bands and stuff. Hopefully it'll be a nice weekend so that I can walk around with the camera to capture the event!

After posting and asking a few questions back in November, I just now finally ordered the refurb'd T1i kit from adorama.com. I went to Best Buy yesterday and asked a bunch of questions and it sounded like a pretty good camera, and after adding up their prices for everything (~$1,000) it made the adorama deal too appealing to pass up. Granted the online kit I ordered isnt a new camera, but for a savings of nearly $350, I think I can live with it. Ill post again when I get it. Id like to give a preliminary thanks to those who answered my questions and gave me a bunch of information! :nice:

Oh, the kit I ordered is at the bottom of the page on the link I quoted, with the bag, spare battery, and memory card.

Cool man. Pick yourself up the 50mm F1.8 soon to get some great background blur for still life and portraits.

I haven't really myself either....just some squirrels in the yard :D
My wife was on a big kick taking when ever we went anywhere so I bet there are about 500+ pics on there that I still need to upload to the computer.

i might have to do that for the honeymoon...or get a lot more memory cards :rlaugh:

im really pissed because my camera backpack has a pocket designed to fit a "17 inch laptop" well my toshiba 17" wide laptop is more like 22" in width and doesnt fit! i was going to bring that on the honeymoon to offload all the pictures but it doesnt f'king fit! so now i have to think of something else...

I freakin love my new camera! Got a couple ass chewings for spending so much money, but its certainly reignited my interest in photography! Got a few pics of fireworks this weekend using between a 6 and 20 second exposure. Took me a while to figure out what works, but makes me want to keep using it more and more. Going to San Diego, CA next week, so Im sure Ill use the hell out of it there too. My head is kind of swimming trying to figure it all out.

One of my favorite shots from my first wedding reception I did a couple weeks ago. This was with my "dinosaur" Canon 5D. I actually liked more of the pics from my Canon T2i, though.

Took my new camera to San Diego last week, barely make it off the plane, and what do I find...
I dont think these are super valuable, but I think theyre pretty rare, arent they? If memory serves they only made a couple thousand or less. Figured Id post these here since this is a photography thread on a Mustang forum.
