Over the summer, I noticed that every so often, my car would have trouble starting. Usually this would happen when the car was started after only sitting for a little while (still warmed up). After sitting for a week, I tried to start it last night and it would not start. It made that terrible noise like when you turn the key with the car already running. Could I assume the starter is bad? Also, are there any differences to removing and replacing a starter in a 97 Cobra and a 5.0?
