My stang developed a starting problem where the engine would turn over but not fire up. This occurred after the car was driven and the engine was still was warm. I had a tech look over the car and check things out. Turns out my Aeromtoive adj. fuel pressure regulator had a bad diaphram and was leaking. My MSD 6AL was internally shorted? I guess it had a bad ground or something. I did not install these parts, and they had been on the car and in good working order since 2001. So, disconnected MSD and replaced fuel reg. w/ stock one and now car starts and runs fine, but now I'm left with two exspensive paper weights. Both parts are past the manufacter's warranty. I called Aeromotive about ending it in and replacing the diaphram, and they pretty much said it would probably be easier to by a new one. I thought the MSD were pretty good stuff, but as of right now I not about to by a new one. Anyone else had similar problems?
