Has anyone used the Steeda 18 cam? I am mildly improving a '91 5.0 motor for my '68 convertable swap. I am planning on new heads to match the cam and new 70mm throttle body, 75mm MAS, GT-40 intake, and 24lb injectors. I am not looking to replace rubber every 10K miles, but I want to romp on most of the streeted importers. I have 3.25 gears and a 3000 stall in the AOD.

By the way I have a 302 and C-4 up for trade or sale... Go to trader under Pushrod.

Suggestions for a decent cam welcome. Thanks for the help!!

I've been looking at the Steeda cams myself and can't really seem to find anyone here with any real info. I did speak to my mechanic about the Steeda's, and his opinion was positive. The Steeda's are dual lobed, so there's a bit more favoritism on the exhaust side, so it'll give you a few more horses. I believe the #18 is kind of Steeda's equivilent to the E-cam. It's probably what I'll be dropping in my car when I swap out the engine......one of these days.
