I have a damaged steering rack and I need to get a new one. I could seriously save a bunch of money by getting one off a v6 if they are the same thing. Anyone know if this is true? From pictures they look exactly alike with the steering lines in similar spots...but I cant find any part numbers or information regarding the similarities or differences. I would be getting one from the same model year (2001) so if they are year-specific then it wouldn't matter. Anyone have any info on this?
