Hey Guys,
I just replaced my fuel injectors this weekend and my car is running a lot better than it was but its still running a little off.
I pulled the error codes and the only one I'm getting is related to the EGR valve. I had this same problem about 2 years ago and thought I fixed it. Apparently not.
I'll give you a recap on what has been done so far:
About 2 years ago, I replaced the EGR valve, EVP Sensor, EVS Sensor, and all the vacuum lines. It ran great for a while and got rid of the error codes but they're back.
When I replaced my injectors, I noticed A LOT (a lot isnt even the word to use) of carbon build-up in my EGR valve. I cleaned out the EGR Valve, EGR Spacer, IAC, and Throttle Body of all the carbon I could.
Would I need to replace the EGR valve after only 2 years?? Any other ideas? Thanks guys.
