Still need AC help!!??

Well i jumped the connector going into the ac cycling switch and low and behold it will work, so i figured the switch might be bad. Well i just got done replacing it and it still doesn't work!!! I'm pretty pissed, anybody know any ideas on what it could be?? I'm pretty sure it was going to be that switch since it will work when i jump the connector but i guess not. Now i don't have any ideas or understand what's going on. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you fill it with refridgerant?

I had to jump mine then refill it... took almost 3 cans to fill. worked like a charm afterwards... didn't need a new switch... just some line pressure to trigger it.

fill it while switch is jumped. I just had to do mine.

Yeah, a few hours ago while i jumped the switch i filled it up with a bottle of refrigerant. Now the compressor will kick on for about 6 sec then shut off and then repeat the same thing. While i'm at work tomorrow i'll try another can of R134-A and see what happens.
