Im swapping stock disk brakes on the front and was wondering does the stock disk brake hoses match up to the drum hard lines or do i have to change the lines some. Any special stuff i need to get to do the change over?

    Thanks!!

The lines that extend to each front wheel from the proportioning block are different. They terminate facing the opposite direction on disks vs drums. Also, the flex lines are different.

Are you going from manual to power? If so, a bunch of things have to be changed.

The hard lines to the master cylinder have a different size flare fitting. The hoses are different since they connect to the calipers with banjo bolts. You can use the original front distribution block, since it only serves to branch the fluid to left and right sides.

If you have the money, get the SS braided hoses (they make them to fit the original lines off the dist. block), and fabbing some new hard lines is a piece of cake. The parts are available at most any parts store.
