I have a 1995 mustang GT just got done putting a procharger on it. And during my tune i was told that the stock fuel rail wasnt able to get enough fuel to the injectors. does anyone know the limits of a stock fuel rail. I have 42lb injectors, 255lph pump and a 70lph boost pump we were getting about 10 pounds of boost at 4600-5000 rpms when it would lean out. Fuel pressure is set at 50psi and holds steady all the way up to 10 pounds of boost. Any ideas. we are hoping for 12-14 pounds of boost at 5700-6000 rpms but we cant get there. The Right Bank is staying fueled but the left bank is running lean when we get to high RPMs so i was told that the fuel rails werent big enough to keep up. Is this true or do i need a second opinion

Stock fuel rails are capable of supportig block splitting horsepower(500+) . Unless you have a kink in the line somewhere...I'd look elsewhere.

I do see a problem with your fuel pressure. You should have a 1:1 rising rate fuel pressure regulator...and have it set to 39psi at idle with the vaccum line off. It should raise 1psi per lb of boost to provide the fuel rails the proper fuel flow. This means that at 14psi, you should have 53psi of fuel pressure.

ya the fuel rail is not your problem fuel pressure is.i run ab0ut 65 psi when im gonna get on it hard im running 9#boost.i have a 255 intank with bbk reg. set at 65 runs rich at idle but good at full boost im putting my fmu back on when my new disc gets here i suggest you get aboost ref. reg or fmu they get the job done untill you can afford a dyno tune

I don't think the stock fuel rails are a prob. I have run an 11.25 and the fuel rails are one of the few stock parts still on my car.
