Stock sway bar size?

I went to order a set of front Sway Bar Bushings today, and the guy at the shop said 7/8inch(which is what I thought it was) seemedd to small for my 95 GT. Does anyone know what the stock size is before I go try to climb under the car and mesure it?
And yes, I know this is the lazy way to do it, but its damn cold outside and its nice and warm here by the computer.

Ford's wonderful production tolerances mean that there is no set size. The most common though is 29mm.

Thanks. I actually climbed under it tonight and messured 1 1/8 inch which works out to be just about 29mm.
