i recently did a hci swap and everything went well with the exception of recurring idle problems iac is aftermarket junk. i have a map sensor mounted on firewall like normal but noticed that there was no vaccume line hooked up so i was in the process of doing swap and found another map sensor tucked under the intake. is there a reason for this? the car is an 88 it is mass air hard to tell if it was original or conversion real clean and factory harness is in tact:shrug: car runs great when i have my foot in it. just when i push the clutch in it bounces between 500 and 1500 rpm new iac is ordered from ford with calibration number from car. and no vaccume leaks any ideas?
