Before I go to the DMV and get them involved with knowing about my car, I wanted to see if you guys could tell me if my car is totally street legal or not?

    SN-95 - 1994

Here in NC anything later than 1995 must have smog inspection.

Everything is different! Block, racing pistons, racing crank, racing cam, heads, intake, rockers, headers, injectors, water pump, radiator, pulleys, 373 gears, clutch, transmission, exhaust ( H-Pipe )

H-Pipe says " Off Road Use Only "

Here is a short video. The sound is bad because it was recorded on my digital camera!

I use to live in the Fayetteville/Sanford area, just moved out a year ago.
DMV never looked at my car, not even to get the mileage when I transferred the registration from FL to NC. After that, it was all annual re-newal over the internet.

As far as inspection, I took it to a few differnet places, never had a problem. One fella knew why I was there, (" Boy....you want a sticker or an inspection?")his only thing was window tint, didn't care about anythng else.

Not knocking North Carolinians ( I'd love to take my NJ self back to NC), but I seen some real jalopies cruising those roads, cops never seemed to mind.

Guess it comes down to....keep a low profile.

Good Luck man....and if you live near Sanford, check "Billy's Automotive" on hwy 87, bit north of Buffaloe Lake road. Old retired Airborne guy from Ft. Bragg...he's a hot rodder, he knows how things are.

i live in nc the only problem is going to the H pipe. most people around where i live dont really look at it but as long as you dont be to loud when you goto get it inspected you will be alright...but if you have tint that might be a problem. most people check that now.
