I am thinking of putting some on my car. Any suggestions or ideas? Did any of you guys do it yourself? I like the bigger dual stripes. Any help would be appreciated.

If you have Satin Silver, Tungsten, Alloy, or White stripes look best. Painted are the best looking stripes. Tungsten or Alloy would be my choice. If you want vinyl, Baltimore Street Mods is the place to go.

Yeah I was looking at that website just now. I don't plan on having the car for a long time so I am cool with Vinyl. I like the dark charcoal metallic with the 12" stripes. Are they difficult to install or is it something I should have a shop install.

That would be very close to Alloy. Should look really good. You can do it yourself. Just take your time and have a helper.

Depends on how patient your are and your skill level. I would never, NEVER attempt to put them on.

Stripes usually look good. You can't beat painted stripes though. They look 100 times better. Are you selling your car though? Or is that your 2001 that is for sale? If you are selling the 07 though, I wouldn't do the stripes.

I am still debating on when and if I am going to sell it. I am bored with the car now and I need to do something to spice it up...lol. I already have a fast as hell 2001 so I am more into the looks on this one.

I got some stripes from Baltimore. Love them, except it took me 3 times to get it perfect...wanted to avoid the $800 from a shop, but I paid about $400 due to mistakes. They aren't hard if you have patience though. That, a garage, hair dryer for the bumper install. Couldn't do it without...I liked putting them on though since I feel I could due it on any car in the future. I get more looks and comments with the stripes than any other time. (yellow with gray stripes):D

I'm getting some white ones painted on as soon as I get my new hood and find a painter here in the Balkens I can trust.

I went with wide hood stripes, vinyl.
I was going to order them and have them installed, but the local graphics shop quoted me a better price to have him cut them himself and install.
    Cheaper than ordering them.

Everyone has the double stripes so that's why I went with something different.

Come on dude stay focused on the topic....leave the guy alone.

I do like the one single stripe, I thought about doing that but I wasn't sure it would look good in the color I want. I have the CDC aggressive front spoiler and the Xenon duck tail rear spoiler. So I am excited about hos the stripes will make my car look.

I did my own install. Definitely take your time and with the larger sections, an extra pair of hands will help. I second the idea of using tape to help lay it out/line it up. I used tape to hold mine up as I was doing the job solo.
I would like to have some more stripes on mine, but I just haven't found the look I'm happy with. The duals are way overdone and those who have the wide single looks great and those who have the different side stripes(BOSS/MACH) and hood graphics like Humboldt have look good. My problem is the Vista color and want something not seen often.
WAY:OT: , but won't yours out handle and out run a stock Shelby:rlaugh:
