STROKER INSTALL WRITEUP???

Does anybody know of a write-up or website that walks through a stroker build???

I'm doing 460 > 557 in my garage and just wanted to know EVERYTHING I can just to see if I'm getting in over my head.

The weakest link for power in the BBFs is the internals and heads so I figure first things first and start searching. Found 557 kit on ebay (buy it now $789!!!) Anyway, thanks for any replies

The heads are not a weak link, the pistons and rods are. We have a girl racing a turboed BBF on the 460ford forums with over 1,000 hp and using the stock crank with good rods and forged pistons to prove how good stock parts are, they did several runs down the track, tore it down and the crank looked just fine.

The heads, D0VE heads big valves and ported by a guy on the BBF forums, can support 700-800 hp, plenty for a stroker, and ALOT cheaper, im gonna buy a set from this guy ASAP.

They look good. I'll see what's goin on when I get the bottom end done. Going 557 So after that's done hopefully I'll know what I want for an HCI.
