Studdering/ Cuts-back when Wet???

I have a 2001 bullitt mustang w/ a vortech supercharger. The car only has 27k miles on it as well. The problem is, when it rains or gets washed, the car willk drive fine when grannying through the gears. But as soon as I hit it and it hit boost it will studder and cut back bad until I let off the gas. After i let off the gas it will clear up and go back to normal. It will do this for about 10-15 mins after washing and then I can go into boost. What is my problem? I was thinking the air filter was getting wet, but it wouldn't do that after a washing would it? there's probably puddling water at the bottom of the filter (I'm assuming it's in the deep fenderwell) and when you are driving normal it just sits there, but when you hit it hard, the water is getting sucked up through the ductwork from the boost...

I also have a 95 supercharged cobra with the air filter in the same place and it never does this kinda thing. How could water get in the air filter by a washing?

Check your rear 2 coil packs - I have actually had water puddle down in the spark plug hole on my DOHC motor after washing it.

Remove the COP boots. Vacuum the water out of the plug wells. Spray the boots with silicone spray. Reinstall boots.

The rubber boots that go over the top of the spark plugs. Each cylinder has a COP (coil on plug), which connects to the wiring harness.
