Stumped With Random Ticking

Hey guys,
So I've been creepin' this forum (and others) for years, but finally picked a site and made an account. Loving it so far.

But anyway I just bought my long awaited first mustang. But I've come across a couple minor problems, the most annoying being:

A ticking noise coming from the drivers side of the engine bay. It follows no rhythm, and is not dependent on or changed in anyway by speed, RPM, or any variable I can think of. Its not always apparent either. I notice it most echoing off the divided when driving down the highway (but again not always), and occasionally I hear I when just idling in the driveway. Any ideas?

The car is a 2002 Mustang GT
-5 Speed
-85,000 KM (53,000mi)
-BBK CAI
-Steeda UDP and manual timing adjuster
-FR 1" lowering springs
-FR 3.73's

Interesting but I assume that noise would be affected by rpm.
