Hello, so I'm installing a rear seat delete kit in my 14 mustang and will have 2 12" Stubbs on the top board and the amps on the bottom board. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas/could provide pictures of a dual sub or 2x single sub boxes for subs in a rear seat delete kit. I thought about putting the subs in the bottom piece and making that into a box but I'm sure it'd be too shallow and would not look good. Also I'll probably be getting a pre cut ready to install rear seat delete kit for around $200-$250. How much would fabrication of just a box for behind this cost? I asked about having the box and rear seat delete kit made at a local audio store and the fabricator said probably around $800 after taking a look.

Well depending on the subs you can just go isobaric. Just make the rear seat delete section secure and sealed to the opening, cut the sub holes, mount them and you are done. With the right sub IB configuration is quite spectacular. You have to remember you will reduce the speakers power rating but that does not matter as they will be louder per watt.
Image Dynamics, JL W6 or W7, Dayton Ultimax, Dynaudio Esotar, Focal Powers and a few others do excellent in this configuration.

Seriously? It won't cut back on heavy bass too much even with out an enclosure for air to bounce off of? These are what I was looking at 2 SA 12D2 REV3 Sundown Audio 12" DVC 2 Ohm SA Pro Loud Bass Subwoofers Subs | eBay
I have a great deal pending on a full set of SA gear and am about to pull the trigger.

Some of the winningest systems run IB. Those subs would work great in that config with the small Mustang trunk. Just make sure the trunk lid seal is good and you will want to sound deaden the entire trunk but it will work fine.

Here are several $15k+ systems:
