I installed one last October with my King Cobra clutch, and it snapped on me this morning. Luckily I had left the stop light and was shifting to third when my pedal hit the floor, so I was able to coast into a parking lot and park the car. Also, lucky for me I had kept the stock cable, so after pulling the car home with the future sis-in-law's buick, I threw the stock cable in (with minor modification to fit the FWA), and was back on the road to work. I ended up being about 2 1/2 hrs late for work, but my boss was just greatful I came in since I told him I didnt know how I was gonna get the car home to fix it. I guess it could have been worse, I could have been sitting still at the light when it gave and would have had to push the car to the nearest parking lot with traffic backed up behind me...
So unless you want less than a year's worth of service out of your next clutch cable, I dont suggest Summit brand. Just thought I would throw the info out there for all to hear.
