Sunroof gasket

Anyone know where I can find a replacement sunroof gasket for a 78 Ghia? The previous owner has silicon-ed the sunroof shut. I guess the gasket was leaking and instead of fixing it he opted to just seal it. I however want to use it. Thanks for any help.

If its a stock sunroof, I think Scott at SSC has them. I'll try to remember to ask Tony when I get to the shop tomorrow.

Well, today I cut the man made seal that was preventing my sunroof from opening and found that the seal does not leak. I did find that the rear drain hose is leaking and will be an easy fix. Now, I need the felt gasket that fills the gap between the glass and roof of the car. Is there a replacement for this or can I use one from a 79 on Mustang? Thanks

I came up with a solution since no-one on this planet makes anything for this car. I decided to use a universal trunk gasket from Advance Auto Parts. To my amazement, It fit perfectly and solved the problem I was trying to correct. Now, on to the next pain in the Astrix.

Thanks for the info. I have a whole sunroof (and roof skin!) stashed away that I would like to install in my Ghia some day.
