Here is the problem, when I back out of my house, everything is fine until I turn the wheels. When I turn the wheels while backing up, the whole front suspension starts popping, not from one side, but from both sides. It doesnt matter which way I turn, it still happens. The pop is not just something I hear, I can also feel it through the steering wheel.

Any advise on where to begin.....

my car pops as well, but in foward and reverse motion. also does it as I go over speed bumps.

I changed both inner and out tie rods with oem replacements, and I still get the noise. could the strut be binding on the rubber boot of the cc plates?

The TSB is garbage. It doesn't fix the problem.

I have a similar problem as my stang exhibits this noise while going forward AND in reverse. I have visually inspected it and have concluded that the noise is DEFINITELY coming from the strut towers. My struts shift around as the wheel is turned while the car is backing up or moving forward slowly. There is no noise at higher speeds.

Has anyone actually fixed this noise?

I have replaced so far:

Shocks
Struts
Tie rod ends
Ball joints
Sway bar bushings and end links
Steering rack bushings and end links.

Next:
Cobra A-Arms
Coil Springs
UPR 4 bolt CC plates
Urethane Strut Bearings

Any ideas?
