Other than the IRS (obviously a huge deal), does anyone know if an 03-04 Cobra Saleen has a similar suspension package to an 02-04 Saleen Extreme? In other words, does an 03-04 Cobra Saleen have a fully modded racecraft suspension just like an E or any other Saleen, or is it just a stock SVT Cobra suspension? I have been contemplating upgrading to one of these cars for quite some time. Critics argue that the Cobra Saleen is a simply a Cobra with Saleen ground effects. However, you can't deny the potential of the 32v engine. My only issue is I had a 96 cobra vert and the suspension & handling were cr@p compared to my 02 S281SC. I prefer to stick with the racecraft, if possible.
I have personally spoken to an owner of a Saleen Cobra and he told me it has the RaceCraft front suspension, rear IRS, but the oem 13" Cobra brakes.
